We let our reviews speak for themselves.

A little sceptical at first to go to a single stage but have found the Southern
216* unit to be an outstanding match with this boat and hull.

Great top end while still very punchy on take off.

Has handled everything I have thrown at it with ease including being fully loaded with 4 big guys and a fair amount of gear and performed excellently in skinny braided channels as well as big water.

The responsiveness of the tilt nozzle after not having one on my old boat just blows me away.

The smooth easy forward reverse is a pleasure to use.

All in all an outstanding unit matched perfectly in a fantastic boat built by Marc and the team at Peak Marine.

Thanks a lot for the great service and far out the boat is a rocket ship now!

On the lake at WOT before would get around 52km, now at 70% throttle got to 70km and had to button off or she was going into orbit!

I upgraded the nozzle on my 3.3M Attack Marine running a 230HP 2020 Sea-doo to a Southern Jet trim nozzle and reverse bucket set up with electric trim and display and it’s a totally new experience!

Hard to put my finger on it but really has changed the boat to I’m sure how Tony Ward intended it. Good high end boat design like his and yours, it’s the sum of the parts for sure.

I think I have flown over 80 to 100 different helicopters over the years for customers (5 types) and you can feel the good ones.  I didn’t know this wasn’t good until now.

Stoked! boat runs true hands free, its handling has changed drastically, feels smoother and lot more stable. Steering is light and sensitive so much, so I think I need to add more strakes to take advantage of it.

Hole shot nose down is like a 45-degree elevator staying level to the plane.

Trim indictor panel and actuator speed impressive.

In hindsight I should have installed the SJ178 from start considering the impellor maintenance costs and serviceability as I’m learning, this being my first ski set up.
